The AGRI4POL workshop, taking place on 9-10 September in Brussels, Belgium, will bring together farming organisations, nature conservation groups, policymakers, agri-businesses, supply chain actors, and researchers to co-develop actionable strategies for sustainable, pollinator-friendly agriculture.
The workshop will explore practical solutions, co-benefits, and trade-offs associated with supporting pollinator-friendly and economically viable farming. Discussions will focus on current and emerging agricultural practices and innovations, and participants will work toward co-developing a framework that links these approaches with their social, economic, and environmental impacts.
Involved partner institutions: University of Padua (UNIPD), University of Freiburg (UFR), National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and Environment (INRAE), University of Ljubljana (UL), Global Change Research Institute (CzechGlobe), University of Reading (UREAD), Swiss Association for the Development of Agriculture and Rural Areas (AGRIDEA), Association Paisatges Vius - Living Landscapes (LL), Italian Confederation of Farmers (CIA).
