AGRI4POL, together with its EU project partner HelEx, has unveiled a product collection in a video that bridges genetic research and real-world agricultural practice: the Made from Sunflower HelEx gift box.

Developed in collaboration with Moulin de Perrine, Sunbloom, ADA Occitanie and LEGTA Auzeville, the gift box brings together three sunflower-derived products, namely sunflower oil, plant-based proteins and pure honey — each studied and traced within the HelEx project framework. The honey in particular highlights the often-overlooked ecosystem service that sunflower crops provide: supporting pollinators and biodiversity through nectar and pollen production.

For AGRI4POL, this initiative represents the convergence of science and practice. Both AGRI4POL and HelEx are EU-funded projects focused on identifying genetic strategies that help sunflower crops adapt to a climate-changing environment, with the dual goal of improving yields while reducing environmental impact.
"This is not just a gift box — it is the signature of our commitment to sustainability, resilience, innovation and taste," the initiative states. Three products, one crop, one vision.
