AGRI4POL was presented by its coordinator, Adam Vanbergen, at the first Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the Horizon Europe, VALOR project, held on 24-25 March in Wageningen, the Netherlands.
The VALOR consortium gathered partners from across Europe to share progress, present new research and discuss the next steps for the project. Over two days, the meeting brought together ecological, economic and social perspectives, reflecting VALOR’s interdisciplinary approach to understanding pollinators and their importance for ecosystems, agriculture and society.

Understanding pollinators, their values, and their advantages is the common objective of both AGRI4POL and VALOR, both starting roughly at the same time. Presenting AGRI4POL at the meeting created a valuable opportunity to explore where the two projects connect, from research topics to broader collaboration and knowledge exchange. The VALOR project coordinator, Tom Breeze, is leading Work Package 5 (Social & economic opportunities and obstacles towards pollinator friendly food systems) in AGRI4POL, creating a natural link between the two projects and supporting ongoing collaboration.
In addition to the presentation, AGRI4POL promotional materials were also displayed at the event, supported by project partner Pensoft Publishers.
