Between 29 June and 3 July 2026, the AGRI4POL project was represented at the XIII European Congress of Entomology (ECE 2026) in Tours, France. The event was attended by more than 1,400 researchers from Europe and around the world. The rich program of plenary and keynote lectures, symposia and poster sessions stimulated interdisciplinary dialogue – from fundamental science to applied innovation.
But for scientific achievements to reach their audiences, communication is key. That’s why the AGRI4POL communication partner Pensoft presented a workshop “Tiny creatures, lasting impact: Science communication for entomology”, led by Carla Stoyanova (VALOR, AGRI4POL) and Nikolay Mehandzhiyski (EUFAWREADY). The workshop explored the main target audiences and the most effective communication channels to engage them, showcasing best practices from the communication activities of various EU-funded entomological research projects, including AGRI4POL. The project was an example of effective strategic science communication through its visual identity, serving as the foundation for all project awareness-raising and results-oriented materials.
